A little preparation goes a long way. Follow these tips to make your junk removal appointment faster, smoother, and potentially cheaper.
1. Know What's Going
Walk through your space and identify everything you want removed. Make a mental note or quick list. This helps you give an accurate description when booking and ensures nothing gets missed.
2. Consolidate Items in One Area
If possible, gather items in one location—the garage, driveway, or a single room. This speeds up the job significantly and may reduce your cost since we charge by volume and time.
3. Clear a Path
Make sure there's a clear path from the items to the truck. Move cars from the driveway, unlock gates, and clear hallways. The easier the access, the faster the job.
4. Separate Donations from Trash
If you have items in good condition, let us know. We donate to Goodwill and Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Separating donations helps us process everything efficiently.
5. Remove Personal Items
Check furniture drawers, appliance compartments, and boxes for personal items, important documents, or valuables. Once items are on the truck, they're gone.
6. Be Present or Available
Someone needs to be there to show us what goes and approve the quote. If you can't be present, designate someone who can make decisions on your behalf.
7. Have Payment Ready
We accept cash, credit cards, and digital payments. Having payment ready means you can get on with your day as soon as we finish.
Pro Tip
Take photos of large items when booking. This helps us give you a more accurate estimate over the phone and bring the right equipment.
